Your HRA Features and Options

Your account comes with many features and options that make it easy to use.

SelectAccount debit card

Use your debit card just like you would a debit card from your bank. For many of our members, this is the simplest and quickest way access the money in their account.

If your group offers a debit card option, you automatically receive a debit card when you sign up for an account.

Follow the instructions below to request a debit card for yourself or your dependents.

Request a debit card from www.SelectAccount.com 

  1. Sign into the Online Member Service Center at www.SelectAccount.com.
  2. Click the My Profile menu.
  3. Click Debit Card Election.
  4. Click Request Card. The Add New Card page will be displayed.
  5. Enter the personal and relationship information for the person who will receive the new card.
    If the new card is for a dependent who is already in our system, choose their name from the drop-down menu.
  6. Click Submit.

Request a debit card from the mobile app

  1. Tap the menu button in the top left corner.
  2. Tap Payment and Banking.
  3. Tap Add a Card
  4. Enter the personal and relationship information for the person who will receive the new card.

Crossover

Crossover is an automatic claim payments system that allows your health plan to electronically submit your claims to SelectAccount for reimbursement.  This means no paperwork for you. 

Crossover takes the place of your account's debit card.  Any existing debit cards are cancelled when signing up for Crossover.

Crossover limitations

  • Crossover is only available to groups with certain health insurance and dental plans. 
  • Crossover cannot be used if you or your covered dependents have more than one health plan.

Sign up for Crossover

  1. Sign in to www.SelectAccount.com.
  2. In the main navigation menu, click My Profile and select Crossover Elections.
    This option will only appear if you have an active account and your employer allows crossover.
  3. For the crossover option you want to change, click Change under the "Actions" column.
    If you currently have a debit card, an alert will appear letting you know that enabling crossover will cancel your card. 
  4. Review the form--it lists every crossover option that your employer allows (e.g., medical, dental, etc.)
  5. Select Yes under the "New Election" column.
  6. Read the "I agree" statement on the page and select the checkbox next to it.
  7. Click Submit.

Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit allows reimbursement funds from your to be transferred directly into your personal bank account.  You won't have to wait for a check or wait in line at the bank. And, in most cases, you’ll get reimbursed faster.

Setting up Direct Deposit

  1. Sign in to www.SelectAccount.com.              
  2. Click the My Profile menu.
  3. Select Banking Information from the menu.
  4. In the Direct Deposit for Claim Payment section, enter the banking information for the account you wish to set up with Direct Deposit.
